We are Pepijn and Vivianne and we are 2 friends from the Netherlands who created this account to travel together during our gap year!
These are our personal introductions:
Hi!! My name is Vivianne. I am 18 years old and currently taking a gap year. Right now I'm working fulltime as a barista at a cafe and will be starting university next year and I'm trying to decide between religious studies and children's pedagogy right now.
As for my hobbies, I enjoy rowing, reading and playing the accordeon although I don't think I'm able to take that on the trip :) I babysit my neighbours kids a lot, which I really enjoy and I'm very interested in seeing other parts of the world.
Hello, im Pepijn.
I'm 19 years old in a gap year, and i'm looking to see more of the world. Next year i'll start my bachelor, and although i'm not completely certain yet, I have a preference for plant sciences, as I've recently discovered how interesting plants are when you give them the light of day. I've tried getting a job at a garden centre to learn more about taking care of plants, unfortunately to no avail. Other than that my hobbies are playing bass, videogames, and music.

- I did billingual education and the IB English programme during secondary school.
- I babysit regularly so I'm good with children :)
- I have often participated in international debating events replicating the United Nations (MUN) and was part of the organising commitee for the event at our school as one of the leading roles.
- 6 months of experience as a barista/serving in a cafe.
- I speak Dutch, English and about 50% German :)
Pepijn:
