Description
I am at an inflection point. I quit my job as a corporate lawyer, and now I am exploring what is next!
I feel called to projects about permaculture and peaceful living with our planet and all beings. In college, I studied environmental science and policy with a focus on sustainable food systems, and I am returning to this now. I believe I was meant to spend the last six years as a corporate lawyer so that I would have the abilities and skills to serve in the policy and business aspects of sustainable food systems.
I am also interested in projects where I can share massage and yoga. I recently completed a massage training and a yoga teacher training. Giving a massage is so meditative and joyful for me, and the more massages I give, the more I learn! I also hope to share yoga, especially with folks who may not generally have access to yoga. -

More details about your skills
I spent two summers helping at an outdoor produce market (Fruit World in Sicamous, British Columbia). I sorted/graded fruit, ran the till, stocked items, and helped with other miscellaneous tasks.
During my last two summers in British Columbia, I helped tend to the backyard garden. More recently, I spent a few days at a permaculture center/farm in Nepal, where I got a high-level overview of practices at that farm. I hope to learn more about permaculture! In college, my major was in environmental science and policy with a focus on sustainable food systems, and I had internships at an urban garden in Seattle and an environmental policy group in Washington, D.C. I am hoping to return to this passion!
I have completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training and a short massage course.
My greatest skills are that I am intelligent and creative and enjoy learning and being helpful! -
