Hola! Soy un estudiante canadiense (nacido en los Países Bajos) que creció rodeado de enormes montañas y ríos, en la burbuja segura de un pequeño pueblo. Ahora que he roto la burbuja :) disfruto viajar y encontrar pequeñas cosas que me hacen feliz por el mundo.

Elegí Workaway porque me permite vivir muchas experiencias interesantes y geniales como joven, ¡y descubrir cómo es vivir en diferentes países! Aprender idiomas es una de mis pasiones, y estar inmerso en un entorno con un idioma diferente hace que el proceso de aprendizaje sea mucho más divertido.

Algunas de mis cosas favoritas incluyen estar en la naturaleza y disfrutar de los hermosos paisajes, estar con niños, descubrir nuevos lugares y probar diferentes tipos de comida. Soy trabajadora, curiosa y siempre más que feliz de aprender nuevas habilidades.

I am a Canadian student (born in the Netherlands) who grew up surrounded by massive mountains and rivers, in the safe bubble of a small town. Now having popped the bubble :) , I enjoy traveling and finding small things that make me happy around the world.

I chose Workaway because it allows me to have many interesting and cool experiences as a youngster, and to discover what it's like living in different countries! Learning languages is one of my passions, and being immerged in a life with a different language makes the process of learning a whole lot more fun!

Some of my favorite things include being in nature and enjoying beautiful surroundings, being with kids, discovering new places and tasting new kinds of food! I'm hardworking, curious and always happy more than happy to learn new skills.

- worked as an aupair for kids ranging from ages 2-10 for several months (included helping them learn English)

- worked as a volunteer in a dog shelter (with 300+ dogs and cats)

- (currently) working as a volunteer in a hostel

- am very organized and clean/tidy therefore able to help with housework

One of my favorite pastimes is cooking, though I am not very good! I would love to learn along side different people to learn their recipes, so I would be pleased if you could teach me.
