  • Description

    Hello World!!!

I was born in India in a hustling city of Mumbai India and then moved to New Zealand for better life. My life in India has humbled me and made me grateful while my life in New Zealand has made me aware that community is backbone of the human existence.

I am an eternal optimistic person and I love to live life one day at a time.

My motto is to spread the smiles and happiness on my way because the world needs it.

I am on a spiritual journey learning more about life and cultures. My source of happiness comes from being around the people, helping them, and getting the sense of community.

After covid, I was the lucky few to work remotely and the day I found out I can do it permanently, I sold everything and set to explore the world. (well metaphorically as Visa, facepalm)

Some call it mid life crisis, but I call it opportunity live the life I dreamt of.

I first went to Central and South America to test the water of being a digital nomad and by each passing day, it felt more and more comfortable.

I met some amazing people who not only help me motivate, but also the knowledge and wisdom shared, it would have been impossible to gain it while living a stationary life in New Zealand.

I lived in few hostels and colivings and just got so passionate by this lifestyle that sometimes I did all the work of a volunteer but as guest. It was then I found out about workaway and started working as a volunteer when my day job has quite months.

Two words which define me is Passion and Curiosity. Where ever work takes me, I like to treat the place as mine and it keeps the passion alive, while I also love solving problems and find ways to do a certain thing, 100 different ways. (Guess being a tax accountant did pay of haha)

I have been on road for almost 2 and half year and each day gets better with time. While the only drawback is not going to places due to visa restrictions but I am making the most of what I have on hand.

I can see myself starting a nice hostel in middle of nowhere and build a community around it and that is one of the reasons I apply for volunteering positions in such places to learn and also share the knowledge I have gathered.

Patience is my strength and I am very comfortable around working with kids, pets and elderly too.

I love to vibing with people who are emotionally intelligent, have a sense of adventure and humor, values have open communication and respect people from all walks of life.

I have known the importance of being vulnerable and sharing feelings with strangers, leads to better connection and would continue to strive of that and find people who are with similar views.

  • What else ...

Curiosity and a desire to connect with other people and cultures is what defines my interests. Getting insight into the customs and habits of the region I visit is an immense pleasure and privilege that I'm looking forward to. Ultimately, becoming as much of a local as possible is the most rewarding part of traveling for me!

I enjoy quality time with other people: love playing board games, going on walks, cooking together, and doing any other group activities. Sharing life stories, discussing cultural and philosophical debates or anything that makes me understand others and myself better is something I really enjoy doing.
