Description
Hi, we are Margot & Tobi.
We are a couple in our thirties living in Amsterdam, looking for a exciting workaway experience all around the world for around 2 weeks in the months of July and August 2025.
Margot is an Artist and Teacher and loves nature and animals and Tobi works in climate tech and looking for direct positive human impact. Next to our day-to-day jobs we share a studio where Margot creates her art work and Tobi has a small-scale coffee roastery.
We really love sustainable travelling and have visited many parts of the world individually and together. We have seen and worked with and in many cultures, landscapes and cities and learned to speak a few languages.
Whats important to us is creating meaningful connections with people, nature and animals. A passion of ours is sharing our home with likeminded people on homeexchange.com and visiting others home and their neighbourhoods all over the globe.

- Creating (contemporary) art works: Margot is an active artist with several exhibitions and visited residencies
- Art and French Teaching: Margot currently works as a teacher
- Wood and metal works, painting, and simple electricity, light and sound basics: Margot worked as a Art Technician for international schools
- Yoga, Meditation and Sound Healing: Margot got a degree in sound healing and gave yoga and meditation classes and sound healing sessions
- Animal caring: Margot loves animals and worked as an animal sitter for many years, mostly cats and dogs and helped not long ago to release a sea turtle
- IT, tech, AI, data and general programming: Tobi has been tech professional his whole career and could help in all things tech
- General handywork - renovations, painting, sanding, furniture assembly, ..
- Teaching: Tobi loves sharing his knowledge and make it understandable for everybody. He has been giving classes in Uni and doing many workshops at work
- Languages: Tobi speaks a few languages to various degree (German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch)
