Hi there!

I’m Thomas, 40, from Belgium.

I’m a geographer and environmental enthusiast with a love for exploring both the outer and inner landscapes. My journey spans from polar research to community projects, combining data, territories, and citizen initiatives to better understand and care for our living planet.

I’m deeply passionate about regenerative practices, deep ecology, and connecting people with the natural world. My current dream is to start an organic farm where I can apply these principles and create a space for learning, growth, and community.

I have experience as a Workaway host in La Palma, which taught me the joy of welcoming travelers, exchanging skills, and collaborating in a supportive environment. I enjoy working with diverse teams, learning from local knowledge, and getting my hands dirty in gardens, forests, or community spaces. I also bring skills in mapping, research, and organizing projects, and I love creative, playful approaches to collaboration.

On Workaway, I hope to contribute meaningfully, learn from others, and immerse myself in local cultures while helping with projects that make a real difference for people and the planet. I’m adaptable, curious, and ready for both practical tasks and thoughtful conversations around sustainability, ecology, and the joy of living in harmony with nature.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me exploring landscapes, playing music, or diving into creative projects inspired by nature and the cosmos.
