  • Description

My entire life I have always struggled with choosing just one path that I wanted to follow, from chef all the way up to a veterinarian. It was hard to find something that I couldn't find joy in doing. The only catch was I kept finding new things to do. This has made finding a career path uniquely difficult, until one day I realized that I would be able to explore all of those options because, though life is short, I can still pack it with as much adventure and exploration as I can. Another realization that has come to me more recently, is that at the core of whatever I do, I want to help people. To me, if I help people, I know that I will have lived a full, happy life regardless of whatever path I take. It is definitely over ambitious to say I alone can change the world, but I will do everything in my power to be a part of the change. ¨̮

I am queer and will not tolerate racist, misogynistic, transphobic and/or homophobic people/remarks. If that would be an issue, I do not think we would make a great fit.

  • More details about your skills

I think the most important skill I have is that I am able to learn very quickly and able to adapt to almost any situation. Though helpful skills, it is definitely a broad statement. A list of more specific skills that I have really honed in on are: cooking, sewing, cleaning, organization, and general technology skills. In terms of work related skills, I have helped on farms and gardens mostly with tasks including taking care of animals, buildings gates, putting in fences, weeding, planting, pruning, general cleaning, etc. I also grew up with two little sisters and babysat/took care of them all the time. I helped them with homework, made them food, and kept them entertained. Overall, I like a lot of hands on activities and can figure out how to do most things quickly.

  • What else ...

I am a pretty easy going person and love to play any type of game, whether its a physical game, board/card game, or even trivia. I also find a lot of joy in upcyling things. I have mostly done it with clothes, but I would love to learn new ways to recycle things and make them better than before. On the topic of recycling, it is a big goal of mine to be as sustainable as possible and any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Overall, I love to learn and try to enjoy every day that comes my way.
