Hey, I'm Mateja! I'm a 19 year old from Canada looking to have some adventures and explore the natural beauty of this country before heading to university in the fall. I'm outdoorsy and am always up for camping, hiking, biking, or any other kind of outdoor adventure. I'm very passionate about trying my best to be a good person and make the world a better place, even through little actions. I also love art in all its forms, whether it's painting, drawing, singing, acting, or playing guitar, I like to do it all! I'm looking to connect with friendly people and share experiences together. Also I'm always looking for someone to nerd out about philosophy with. I think it's important to push myself to go outside my comfort zone and try to learn something new every day. If you're also down to earth and have a good sense of humour we'll get along well! :)

English is my first language and I have some experience tutoring kids in English reading and writing. I can also speak French well enough to hold a conversation but would welcome the opportunity to practice my conversational skills a bit more and try to improve.

I have a lot of experience in customer service from working in retail, hospitality, and the food industry. I believe having a positive attitude has the power to turn around many bad situations, whether that interaction is in person, over the phone, or through a screen. I have my driver's license, First Aid certification, and Smart Serve certification as well. I've spent a lot of time drawing, writing, singing, and playing guitar, so if you're seeking creative talents I'd be a good fit. I can also usually pick up new computer softwares pretty quickly. If you're looking for a unique, outside the box thinker, I'm your girl!
