Description

After a year of cultural visits to Austria, Italy, Jordan, Czech and Dublin Ireland , we are seeking paid travel experiences that encourages adventure, physical labour and culture exchange.

Mackenzie grew up In Leeds, Yorkshire and has a passion for rugby which she has played for 7 years. Susie grew up in London, and is an adreneline seeker and nature lover. Together we have camped and hiked in some of the UKs biggest nature destinationes such as the Lake District, the Peak District and Snowdonia. We have explored new cities abroad, seeing historical monuments and experienced new culture, all of which has inspired our workaway applications.

Both from sporting backgrounds, the endgoal is to be working in the sports development and mental health sector. In the meantime, for real life experience we inspire to contribute to sustainable development goal projects foir valuable life experience in our desired sectors.

I thrive in beautiful scenery and new environments. I love the excitement of meeting new people and experiencing different cultures, each interaction adding something special to my journey. Being active is a big part of who I am—whether it’s hiking, exploring, or just moving under the open sky, I thrive on adventure. With travelling I hope to connect to a new culture and take in some beautiful landscapes.

What else ...

At university we had both studied sport science with a heavy focus on sustainable development and psychology. Outside of our sporty backgrounds we are well rounded in hobbies and interests which can range from a quiet hike to concerts to board games. We find a lot of enjoyment in the company and time with others.
