hi! I’m Sofa, and it is yes a funny name =)
I live in Berlin and currently I am a multidisciplinary artist focused on helping people expressing feeling and healing through abstract art ✨
I was born in Russia but moved out 13 years ago and lived in many different places: USA, Austria, Thailand, Indonesia and traveled many many more! Currently I am based in Berlin, Germany. I am working as a tattoo artist and also visual and dance performer but but I have worked in many different fields in my life! I have a degree and working experience in education, worked with neurodivergent and special needs children, in STEAM and EdTech, coding and robotics for children and in psychology projects, and made a lot of workshops. Currently I am focused on practicing and teaching mindfulness and healing such as yoga, breath work, art therapy.
I love nature and truly care for it, I eat plant based diet, practice environmentally aware live and engaged Buddhism. I go hiking and camping a lot, also rl into diving! I wish myself & everyone to be very respectful and caring towards nature 💚
Traveling and meeting new people, hearing their stories and seeing new perspectives as well as helping people is what makes me happy and motivates me to try workaway! I don’t want to be a simple tourist anymore, I want to connect with local communities and learn from new experiences! And I am also keen to make a change and make this world a bit of a better place.
