Hello! My name is Solène, I'm French and i'm currently in a work-holiday visa. I have always loved travelling, discovering new places and meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. What i'm looking for is to share everyday life with locals and learn from others.

I have a background in Education and Psychology and I have several years of experience working with children. I recently worked in a daycare in Montreal with babies and young children. I really enjoy working with people, taking care of others and creating meaningful connections.
I'm a curious, open-minded and caring person. I love being outdoors, discovering nature, learning new skills and being involved in different kinds of projects. I'm happy to help with children, gardening, animals, daily tasks, creative projects or anything else where an extra pair of hands is needed!

I'm looking for an authentic experience, where I can contribute, learn and share with my hosts. I believe that Workaway is a wonderful way to step outside of my comfort zone, discover different ways of living and create meaningful connections along the way.

I am a rather discreet person and an observer, I thus learn rather easily. Even tough i'm a little shy when i don't know the person, i've a lot of humour. I am a handywoman, I am not afraid of getting dirty hands. I love animals and to take care of them. I worked with children and it was such a great experience. Later, i'd like to work in child protection.
