Hey there

It's Simon & Rita here. We are a young couple with a shared passion to explore the world on two wheels - or rather three, or seven, or how many our current usually homebuilt bicycle setup just features. On the road we are mostly self-sustained and on our own. So we like to stay at one place from time to time for a change, and hope to meet people with a similar passion for ecology, to get to know local culture and meet awesome fellows to share stories and have a good time together (:

As a long term member of Service Civil International, a peace organisation with a similar concept like workaway, Simon has participated in many workcamps mostly in ecological projects. He likes to build stuff, work in the garden (1 year professional experience plus years as a member of CSA) and be in Nature. Rita is a hands-on person with distinctive social skills (with a professional background as a nanny) as well as a strong link to Nature from her childhood on a CSA farm.

After a half-year trip around the Baltic Sea in 2018, we started our next big adventure cycling through France, via Cargo-Sailboat to Mexico and onward to North America in December last year. We are traveling with a recumbent solar-tandem and a slick powered trailer, a bit less comfortable (no guitar or double bed) but smaller and more off-road capable than last time.
