Hi! We are a young Italian couple, Sofia (23) and Stefano (24), and we’re excited to start our first Workaway experience.
We recently chose Ireland as our next destination primary because we want to improve our English. We also love nature, quiet places and authentic cultural experiences.

About us:
We’ve been together for almost 7 years, so we’re used to sharing tasks, coordinating our days and supporting each other.
We are friendly, respectful, clean and adaptable.
We both have a Univeristy degree in Tourism and we have always worked in hospitality or customer-facing roles, so we feel very comfortable interacting with guests, helping people and providing a warm, positive atmosphere.

Sofia:
I’m passionate about sustainable tourism, local cultures and everything related to hospitality. I’m organized and creative. I enjoy cooking meals and cakes, helping with guests, taking care of animals and supporting with general house or garden tasks.

Stefano:
He is practical, calm and very proactive. He enjoys outdoor work, he learns fast and likes being helpful wherever needed.

What we’re looking for:
A welcoming environment where we can contribute, learn new skills, improve our English and experience local life from the inside. We’re flexible with tasks and working hours and always give our best.

Why Ireland:
Irish people are known for being friendly, open and genuinely interested in talking with others. This helps us practise English naturally in everyday situations.
Workaway felt like the perfect way to truly live the country, not just visit it.

We both have a strong background in hospitality and customer service, thanks to our studies in Tourism and several years of work experience with guests.

Sofia:
– Experience as a receptionist and shop assistant, always in direct contact with customers
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Housekeeping, cooking and general help around the house
– Basic gardening
– Comfortable with animals
– Creative tasks such as photos/videos and simple social media content

Stefano:
– Professional experience in 4- and 5-star hotels
– Excellent guest service and teamwork skills
– Used to fast-paced environments and high standards of hospitality
– Comfortable with housekeeping, kitchen help and general support
– Basic gardening and practical tasks
– Calm, reliable and quick to learn

We’re also passionate about history, geography and politics. We enjoy simple activities like cooking together, taking care of animals and sharing good conversations.
