Hi, I'm Sarah! Myself & my partner Niall are over in New Zealand for the next year on a working holiday visa. We are hoping to get involved in some Workaways along the way. We care about nature & community and are looking for opportunities that allow us to learn more about the land and living in a sustainable way - ideally close to a beach with good surf and/or some nice places to hike in our spare time. Looking forward to a new adventure and to meeting some new people along the way :)

I can teach yoga, organise trips & events, cook tasty meals, garden and have experience working in bars, cafes and clothes shops. I am also quick to learn new skills, enjoy a DIY challenge and I'm good with people which means I adapt quickly to new situations. I have a lot of experience in volunteering - I have taught English and Maths to children in Kolkata, helped out at Surf2Heal (a wonderful surf camp for children on the autistic spectrum), fixed up a local centre for adults with disabilities (painting walls, pruning hedges and clearing out junk) and volunteered at events which engage children with science. I was on the committee for the surf club in university and have set up a surf club at the company I currently work in, organising trips for employees along the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. I also lead ergonomic stretches in work and enjoy promoting activity.
