Description

Hi, I am 63 years old and a cabinet maker by trade. I have travelled pretty widely but not really since lockdown. I have done several workaways, Portugal, Switzerland, El Hierro, France. I enjoy writing, fixing things, sailing, hiking and am considering coming back to the beautiful island of El Hierro which I have visited 7 or 8 times since the late 1990's. I would like to get a book written whilst I am there.
18.12.2025 I am now in Roscoff and doing some research and writing.

Apologies Thibaud, I thought I already left feedback for you. Hope you are both well. Thibaud's boat project is different, unique. He shows huge determination over several years to get his project done, and I am sure he will. A lovely area they live in too. A wild coastline with plenty of walking and cycling possible.

Simon stayed with us for two weeks in May 2025, and we had a truly positive experience hosting him. He is a highly skilled carpenter and demonstrated excellent abilities in manual work. A lot of work, in that you are using secateurs all day long! I found it much easier when I used the tools efficiently and used loppers when the branches were too thick!
