Description
We're in the process of some self-exploration, primarily focused on finding meaning in what we do. We're passionate about sustainable living and fully engaging in our surroundings and community, and plan to travel to explore different ways of embracing this type of lifestyle. We moved to India in mid-2023, after quitting our corporate jobs. Sankar is returning after spending 12 years in the US, and this is Annie's first time living in India. We're now on a journey to figure out what we want to do with our lives, in a way where can support the environment and the people around us. We're vegan and try to minimize our impact on the environment around us as much as possible.
We've volunteered at a number of eco-villages and farms in the US and Brazil, as well as in Auroville, Tamil Nadu.

We are great with people, kids, and most animals. We have experience working in farms and ecovillages in Brazil, the US, and India doing a myriad of activities ranging between cooking, cleaning, planting, weeding, composting, minor carprentry, cow feeding and caretaking, etc. We are both quick learners and usually pretty handy with tools. Sankar has also volunteered in a Waldorf school in Brazil assisting in English classes. Annie has worked as a teacher of people with disabilities as well as taught English as a Second Language in China. Annie also enjoys sketching, drawing, and painting, has worked in a jewelry making store, and is interested in learning more about mural painting.
