Hi! We are a young couple in our 20's coming from Virginia, USA. Selah is an artist currently studying at VCU in Richmond, Virginia, but originally from the rural Appalachian mountains. She is an avid photographer, painter, and multidisciplinary artist with a love for travel and learning. She has work away experience, spending time in 2023 in France helping maintain gardens and building outdoor structures. She speaks fluent English and is avidly studying French-- and wants to be fluent. Danny is an archaeologist who lives and works around Virginia. He has spent time around Europe and Latin America, speaking fluent English and Spanish and a little Japanese. He has experience living with host-families, from a few days to several months, and helping around the house. He has lots of experience with handy-man work from plumbing to construction to painting, etc. We are looking to spend some time traveling and connecting with individuals and communities wherever we go!

We both have experience in hospitality and in problem solving while traveling. Selah can cook and bake, has experience in gardening, and caring for animals such as chickens, goats, rabbits, horses, cats, and dogs. As well as childcare experience and multi disciplinary arts and crafts. She is a good photographer and has social media experience. She is currently studying French for fluency and is at an Intermediate level. Danny can cook and bake, has experience being a handyman, working construction, and comfortability with power tools. He has experience working in gardens and foraging, gathering, and hunting, as well as, speaking fluent English and Spanish.
