I'm (almost) 21 years old and am entering my third year of college at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. I'm majoring in International Relations, French, and Music. I'm a C1 level French speaker and have been playing piano for 12 years. I love meeting new people and learning new things; I'm constantly looking for new opportunities for growth and would love to find people that I can learn from!

Language-learning is something that's become very important and central to my life lately. Languages depict power systems, provide pathways and opportunities, and can be such a wonderful opportunity for crossing cultural and even physical barriers. I'd love to teach English and have a little bit of experience doing so, and I may be able to teach a little bit of French as well as a C1 level speaker, though I am not fluent. I am a beginner Arabic speaker.

I've most recently worked as a Residential Assistant at my university, helping to facilitate housing transitions and mediate roommate conflicts. I also have plenty of experience in customer service, specialized desk work, and cleaning. Apart from that, my time as a pianist and club leader has given me experience volunteering, arranging events, and coordinating/working with others to achieve a common goal.
