Description

We are both 24 year olds travelling full time from Australia who are keen to start a new journey and explore overseas for the first time together. We both love being outdoors and working with animals, learning new skills and developing our old ones, and working in teams to accomplish a common goal. We would love to meet fellow like-minded travellers from different cultural backgrounds and walks of life. We both enjoy travelling, but have mainly gone with school groups or our families and to mainly Asian countries. We have always wanted to visit the UK and Europe and believe this would be a perfect opportunity to immerse ourselves in local culture and explore the European landscape.

We are physically very fit and exercise regularly, running up to 10km, and can lift 30-40kg items if needed. We have experience in remote camping and hiking and enjoy working outdoors. We have excellent boat and vehicle handling skills, able to tow and reverse trailers, and have held an unrestricted Australian licenses since 2018.
Savannah also holds a forklift license which she uses for her current job where she works in a warehouse moving and loading pallets. Mahina is a marine ranger so also holds a commercial skippers tickets, driving boats up to 12m, and manages a weeding and revegetation program through work. We both work in large teams, so have great communication, time management, and organisational skills.
We are both native English speakers but are open and keen to learn new languages. Mahina can speak conversational Spanish as well. We both hold Australian university bachelor degrees, where we further developed our oral and written communication skills across different disciplines and cultures.

We enjoy reading, snorkelling, scuba diving, going to the beach, playing card games like speed and solitaire, gardening, going to the gym, hiking, camping and exploring new places. We love trying new cuisines and immersing myself in different cultures through food.

We stayed with Pat and Heidi for 3 weeks on their gorgeous farm! We had so much fun in Ireland helping out. We could only stay for 1 week which was so unfortunate as we loved every minute of our time here. The staff were absolutely lovely, and we really enjoyed our work days apart of the grounds team.
