Description
About me:
Hello! I’m currently in a transitional moment in my life and intentionally exploring what it would mean to move more fully into outdoor, land-based work. I’m looking to spend time in new places not just to travel, but to genuinely experience them with the possibility of eventually establishing a new base somewhere that feels aligned.
I’ve previously travelled in Latin America and did some gardening exchanges during that time, which reminded me how much I value practical, hands-on work and the rhythm of working outdoors. More recently, I was working at a physic garden in Northumberland, England. My role was primarily administrative, but being in that environment deepened my desire to transition into more physical, land-connected work. Funding for my position ended over winter, which has opened up space for me to reassess my direction and take this next step.
Work Ethic:
I take real pride in my work and especially enjoy contributing to projects that feel meaningful. I’m practical, grounded, and not afraid of hard work. I have good common sense, show up reliably, and bring a thoughtful attitude to whatever I’m doing.
My background includes work connected to sustainability, wellbeing, and more recently community initiatives in England. I’m deeply interested in regenerative ways of living, I have a special in interest herbalism (this is what I like to learn about and practice in my spare time), and learning directly from the land. I’m at a stage where I want to build real skills and confidence in outdoor work, gardening, growing food, land care, and general farm tasks, and I’m ready to learn.
I can also provide references that speak to my character and work ethic.
Shared Living:
I’ve lived in many shared houses and co-living environments and feel very comfortable in communal settings. I’m tidy, considerate, and respectful of shared spaces. I enjoy conversation and connection, but I’m equally happy spending time independently. I value clear communication, warmth, and mutual respect.
At this stage, I’m looking for exchanges that feel reciprocal and grounded, and where I can contribute meaningfully while learning and growing in the process.
Warmly,
Sarah -

More details about your skills
About me:
Hello! I'm at the beginning of an open ended trip around Latin America beginning in Mexico and heading south.
I want to try some workaway exchanges to put the breaks on, learn about new projects and ideas, and ultimately enrich my travelling experience.
I did some WOOFing when I travelled in New Zealand several years ago so I am familiar with the principles of a workaway exchange although I've only recently started my trip here.
Work ethic:
I take joy and pride in working especially towards a worthy cause. I am not shy of hard, practical work and have good common sense.
I'm very passionate about sustainability, regenerative economics, wellbeing and community. I have worked in a variety of jobs within those themes back in England where I am from, I can share more detail about this if needed.
I have also recently learned how to facilitate sacred circle spaces - I would love to find an opportunity to practise this during my travels but we shall see!
Shared living:
I have lived in a lot of co-living spaces and have always been able to live in harmony with others. I clean up after myself and don't take up much space. I am conversational and like to hang out and make new friends but am also respectful of people's space and need for privacy - quite happy to keep to myself occupied! -
