Hi, my name is Rose and I am from England. I have enjoyed Workaways on farms in Albania, Serbia, Montenegro and Norway where I have gardened, grew fruit and veg, built drystone walls, collected and split wood, plus lots of other tasks. I have just returned from the Morroccan Sahara where I helped to build Adobe houses. I'm hardworking and versatile and happy to do most jobs. Please see review.
I travelled and worked in many countries in my early twenties, and now I'm happy to be doing so once again. I love living and working alongside people from other countries and cultures.
I am trained in horticulture and have worked in various plant nurseries and gardens, ran my own fresh cut herb business, and grow my own fruit and vegetables and keep bees.
I have a passion for nature and enjoy taking photographs. I'm interested in music from all over the world and am teaching myself to play various instruments including piano, tenor recorder drum and other folk instruments.
For me life is about appreciating every day, and the enjoyment of the world around us.

I have enjoyed many aspects of horticulture, from work in various plant nurseries and running them when the proprietors went on holiday, gardening for myself and other people, growing herbs for my fresh cut herb business. Skills include propagation, pruning and making compost. I have also worked with young people in youth clubs and youth hostels as well as with people who have learning disabilities and autism. During my early travels, I had a variety of jobs including work in vineyards, picking fruit, cleaning and painting boats and hotel work.
