Hello!
I recently left my job in a school and am spending the year travelling on and off to learn more about myself and the world. I have an inquisitive mind and a genuine curiosity about people’s everyday lives and ways of living.
I studied Philosophy and Politics at university, and I hope to pursue a career in academia, so I’d love to exchange ideas and hear your own perspectives!
I’m an experienced solo traveler, and I completed my first Workaway in France in October 2024. I’m always eager to get involved, learn new skills, and help where I can. After spending the past year working with children with special educational needs, I feel very comfortable and confident around children.
I’m excited to become part of your community, contribute in any way I can, and discover more about new parts of the world!Interests

More details about your skills
I’m eager to experience new things and learn new skills, but I also bring the following experience:
— Cooking & Cleaning – With three years in hospitality, I’m confident preparing food and managing cleaning tasks in busy kitchens and cafés.
— Admin, Events & Social Media – I’ve organised events such as an academic conference, and managed social media accounts to promote activities and engage with a wider audience.
— SEN Childcare – As a learning support assistant in a secondary school, I worked closely with children with autism and ADHD, building patience, understanding, and adaptability.
— Teaching & Language Exchange – My school experience has given me skills in sharing knowledge clearly and supportively. As a native English speaker, I’d be happy to help others practice and improve their language skills.
Beyond this I am happy to throw myself into any task you give me!Age
