  • Description

    About me:

Hello! I’m Richard, a volunteer traveler, and digital nomad with a passion for nature conservation, animal protection, and a deep interest in sustainable living. My last volunteer travel was for five years, where I've backpacked and volunteered across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East, immersing myself in various cultures and communities, and gaining invaluable experiences in permaculture, organic farming, community living, yoga, dynamic facilitation and other disciplines. I am really interested in alternative and sustainable methods of living, and love to explore new ways of creating decentralized systems.

My professional background is diverse, with skills spanning:

    Hospitality (Hotels/Lodges/Hostels)
    Events/Wedding Coordination & Floral Design/Decor
    Logistics & Exports/Imports
    Web Design (Shopify/WordPress/Wix/Squarespace/Framer & more)
    SEO & Digital Advertising/Marketing
    Paid Media
    eCommerce
    Architectural/Interior/Landscape Photography
    Retouching & Image Editing
    Data Analysis
    Landscaping & Gardeining
    Cooking & Kitchen
    Housekeeping
    Maintenance (Painting etc.)

    Diet:

I am driven by the desire to minimize my environmental footprint and promote ethical consumption, and therefore stick to a Vegan diet where possible, but do not completely reject animal produce if sourced sustainably. Sometimes it is just not possible to adhere to a certain/strict diet because of geographical and other reasons.

As Alan Watts once said “It’s better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way.”
