Description
Hi there, I'm Rhiannon! I'm a 19 year old Irish girl who wants to see more of the world. I love being outdoors, working with my hands and meeting people. I have knowledge about cob building, sustainable living and organic farming. I enjoy art and writing, and I listen to a lot of music and play the guitar. I have a strong work ethic and I would like to work on a farm, I have lots of experience with gardening and animals, especially horses, chickens, dogs and cats but I love all animals.
I'm excited to do this for many reasons, the cultural exchange, the work itself, and the chance to explore the area on weekends. If I was to describe myself I would say I enjoy being social and I'm a very open, honest, agreeable and non-judgemental person. I do have an introverted side and sometimes I need to recharge a bit but overall I would say I'm extroverted. Looking forward to my first trip!

More details about your skills
I did a one year course exploring various mediums of art down in Cork. It was a very interesting experience and I enjoyed the course and really learned a lot.
I also worked in a furniture shop before that, which was a lot of intense physical labour as well as customer service. I got on smoothly there and handled the work fine, although I was working mostly to save up for college and moving away. My interest wasn't the strongest and I have since discovered I'm a lot more passionate about working outside with plants and animals than being in a warehouse or behind a till, so that's what I've been doing for the last while. I also did some volunteering and worked at Puca Halloween Festival last year.
I'm quite handy and I help my dad with building projects sometimes. I have knowledge about cob building and basic DIY. I can ride a horse competently, although I haven't for a long while. I have had my driving license for nearly a year and in that time I've gotten experience with weeding and basic gardening skills, also chopping wood and random jobs around the place for friends and family. I worked in an organic fruit and veg market years ago I should add.

What else ...
I enjoy wild swimming, although I'd love to do it in a sea that isn't freezing someday as the waters here are almost unbearably cold (even for a lot of the summer!) I enjoy board games, I've played a lot of them and I'm open to learning new ones as well. I would love to play guitar sometimes while I'm abroad if possible, and hear it if anyone in the household plays.
