Interested in tramping, camping, swimming, snorkelling, skiing, kayaking, running, yoga.. also reading, puzzles, games. I'll try anything once and I love an adrenaline rush, but also quiet downtime!
My next destination:
New Zealand - from Oct 2024 until Oct 2027 View all
Description
After finishing uni in July 2024, I sold my car & most my stuff and set off on a long term adventure!
I love hiking, camping and being out in nature, especially exploring mountains, rivers and lakes. I also love being out on water, from swimming, to snorkelling and kayaking.
Currently travelling New Zealand South Island in my self containedToyota Hiace campervan, and working, wwoofing and workawaying along the way. Embracing new opportunities and always learning and exploring.
I have been in New Zealand since October 2024 and have travelled (almost) all over, current plans include April-May 2026 travelling in my van with some workaway and wwoofing stops, followed by a ski season June-October, and then starting Te Araroa SOBO October 2026!
I spent most of 2025 travelling, so now I am quite keen to slow down and spend the next two months stopping for workaways for 1-2 weeks! I love sharing stories and experiences, learning, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and do some physical labour.
After working some office based jobs in the UK I have discovered this isn't the life for me. I love to work outdoors, with people, animals and kids.
I have a small amount of gardening experience, including some fruit picking, weeding, planting, and I am always wanting to learn more and help where I can. I have experience with dogs, and enjoy being around animals in general. I have heaps of experience with children of all ages, mostly with ages 10 upwards but young children and babies too.
I also have lots of experience organising, cleaning, tidying, housekeeping, working with people, coordinating, and planning.
I love to try new things and get stuck in, I'm not afraid to get dirty or be out in some rain or wind, and am super keen to learn!

The backpackers itself is a beautiful historical building which they both care for a lot, being the only workawayer since it’s off season I had a room to myself and plenty of space/it was always warm enough.
