  • Description

Hi! I'm a 28-year-old girl from a small village in Italy with just 2,500 people — a quiet place that I’ve always called home. I have a degree in Communication and over the years I've had the chance to work in many different roles: waitress, dog groomer, receptionist, hair salon assistant... but most of all, I’ve worked as a school assistant for children with disabilities. That experience deeply shaped who I am.

Now, I feel it's time to explore the world — to meet new people, discover new places, and step outside the small-town life I've always known. I’m curious, open-minded, and eager to learn from every person and situation I encounter.

I have a big heart for animals, nature, and children. I truly believe that these three things can make anyone's heart feel lighter. People often describe me as kind, cheerful, and polite — and I try to carry those qualities with me in everything I do.

I’m really excited to begin this new chapter and would love to contribute, help, and grow through the Workaway experience.
    :)

    Skills That Could Be Useful

Childcare experience: I’ve worked as a school assistant for children with disabilities, so I’m patient, attentive, and used to supporting kids with different needs.

Animal care: I’ve worked as a dog groomer and have always had a deep love and respect for animals. I'm comfortable around pets and happy to help with their care.

Hospitality: Thanks to my experience as a waitress and receptionist, I’m used to working with the public, staying organized, and keeping a friendly attitude in busy environments.

Administrative help: I’ve worked as a secretary, so I can assist with basic office tasks, emails, scheduling, and communication.

Household chores: I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! I’m happy to help with cleaning, cooking simple meals, or general housework.

Good communication and teamwork: With my background in communication studies and my varied work experience, I know how to adapt, cooperate, and keep a positive team spirit :)

  • What else ...

I'm quite an active person, I've been training in the gym for many years, mainly weightlifting, and more recently I've started practicing calisthenics, which I really enjoy. I also love cooking, especially baking sweets and desserts wich it's something that relaxes me and makes me feel at home.

Sometimes I draw or paint, not so much as a structured hobby, but more as a way to express emotions that I can't always put into words. It's a personal and creative outlet that means a lot to me.

I’ve always had a deep connection with animals. I grew up (and still live) in a small village surrounded by the countryside and all kinds of animals, it's a peaceful and inspiring environment. I even took a short beekeeping course recently, which was fascinating!

In general, I'm a very curious person. I love learning new things, exploring different perspectives, and discovering anything that can broaden my view of the world.
