  • Description

I am a sympathetic, open-minded, and adventurous person! I love challenges and trying different things, exploring new situations. I have a good palate and a passion for the world, (and its cuisine hehe). I have many hobbies, but I especially enjoy reading, running, drawing, talking to strangers, singing (follow this link https://youtu.be/U2AdSKQyluY), and playing the guitar. I appreciate the simple, lovely things and good company, CARING, and taking care, of course... I do not need much. I am also an independent person, very autonomous when working or having time on my own.

I've been traveling for 12 years now. The best part for me is sharing experiences and opinions with others; it is the best way to foster peace around :D

------------ BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF MY PROFESSIONAL PATH CAREER------------------------

After studying Tourism management and completing two international study exchanges in 2014 and 2018, I've worked in the tourism/hospitality sector in Spain for years. During those years, I acquired professional skills in administrative tasks, especially customer service, commissary tasks, communication skills, customer service-oriented goals, daily tasks in reception, hotel and private property management, etc.

In the same way, I never gave up on continuing to educate myself and learn new skills. Therefore, I decided to study languages on my own or with private teachers, as well as disciplines that I always liked: Mandarin Chinese, philosophy, feminism, history, communication skills, marketing, entrepreneurial culture, etc. Additionally, I studied in China with the Chinese Government scholarship in early 2017 and continued studying the language, history, and culture of the country intensively for a few months in Shanghai. After that experience, I decided to start a career in international relations at the Open University of Catalonia, allowing me to delve deeper into fields of interest such as politics, economics, law, social sciences, international cooperation, and history.

Between 2018 and 2019, I volunteered around Europe in hostels, private associations, local families, and worked as an au pair in Morocco. However, I was undoubtedly linked to Arab culture and curious about those countries.

My professional life took a different direction in 2019 when I worked in Qatar at the Economic and Commercial office of the Embassy of Spain. That experience introduced me to real politics, business, and international trade. My job consisted of supporting Spanish companies that wanted to open a business in the country, preparing reports for official authorities, and facilitating meetings and projects between Spanish partners and Qatari companies.

In the summer of 2020, I returned to Spain and worked as a tourist technical assistant, enabling me to work in a different environment from my last job. I managed daily tourist activities, visitor orientation, and reported on the Covid situation, etc.

Between 2021 and 2023, I served as the Coordinator of the Internship Department at the Culinary Institute of Barcelona, developing a diverse skill set. Notably, my organizational, planning, and coordination abilities were honed through managing internship agreements, ensuring a fruitful educational experience for students. Additionally, my role as a mentor cultivated skills in providing emotional and professional support, fostering empathy and conflict resolution. My role as the Spanish-English translation coordinator improved my intercultural communication skills. As a member of the admissions committee, I enhanced my candidate assessment, interview, and sales skills. Finally, my experience in school operations support taught me effective multitasking, efficient communication in an academic environment, and proactive problem-solving. These cumulative experiences have significantly enriched my educational, social, and interpersonal skill set, enabling success in the field of education and the development of strong relationships.

    So...

My journey through the worlds of education, international trade, and tourism management has been quite an adventure. I've always had a knack for quickly adapting to new environments and roles, which I attribute to my diverse experiences and personal abilities. With a strong foundation in language proficiency, I've built a track record of effective communication and problem-solving along the way.

My life's script has been a blend of academic and practical experiences, and what fuels my professional fire is my genuine passion for teaching and mentoring others. It’s a calling for me.

Currently, I'm on the lookout for opportunities that can allow me to bring my rich set of skills and experiences to dynamic and multicultural environments.

No puedo con las injusticias, la negatividad y el pesimismo. La vida es injusta, verdad, depende de tu mirada y de la actitud que tomes ante los desafíos... Si algo he aprendido es que tener esta visión nueva, cada día, cambia tu mirada.

_I can't handle injustices, negativity, and pessimism. Life is unfair, true, but it depends on your perspective and the attitude you take towards challenges. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that having this new outlook every day changes your perspective._
