Hello! I'm an aspiring artist and college student from Japan, currently enjoying a gap term. My formative years in Bangkok, Thailand, opened my eyes to stark contrasts in living conditions, profoundly shaping my understanding of societal complexities. This experience ignited my passion for volunteering. During high school, I founded volunteer organizations focused on tutoring at children's homes and beach clean-ups. Although I've since passed the torch to the younger generation, these initiatives have received local and global recognition. The most rewarding aspect has always been the genuine connections I've made and the diverse cultures I've had the privilege to immerse myself in.

Outside of community service, I channel my creativity into Japanese poetry, videography, and drawing. My academic pursuits in architecture, sociology, and philosophy continue to enrich my perspective. I'm thrilled to join the Workaway community and look forward to a journey filled with mutual learning and shared experiences!

Some of my skills are:

Teaching: I've had the pleasure of teaching English and Math to children. I genuinely enjoy interacting with kids and find it rewarding to engage with their curious minds.

Hospitality: My experience as a waitress has equipped me with excellent customer service skills and an understanding of the hospitality industry.

Language Proficiency: I'm fluent in both Japanese (my mother tongue) and English. I'm currently studying Italian and German.

Culinary & Agriculture: While I consider myself a novice, I have a growing passion for cooking and organic farming. My interest also extends to gardening, particularly because of my fondness for flowers!
