Our next destination:
Ireland - from Aug 2025 until Aug 2025 View allDescription
We both left our full time jobs last year and after travelling around Asia for a while and are now spending some time in the UK and Ireland further developing our land-based skills and spending time outdoors in nature.
I (Nettie) have volunteered on farms before via WWOOF and now want to gain experience of more different types of farming (including with animals and mixed farming systems) before I begin a horticulture course at Black Mountains College in January 2026. I’m always interested to meet and learn from people living alternative lifestyles and how to sustain a life on the land.
Phoenix has just left his job building round-wood adventure playgrounds to pursue freelance work in sustainable and ecological construction, but is also interested in food systems and farming.Interests
