Hi!! I am from Colorado, US and just recently graduated from college this past May! I studied environmental engineering, and am very passionate about sustainability. I'm on Workaway because I really want to travel and learn about different cultures, as well as work on my Spanish. I would love to gain some really valuable abroad experiences before I look for work back at home.

I am interested in teaching English and learning Spanish is an important goal for me as well. I have a 120 hour TEFL certification. I am a beginner in Spanish, as I studied it in high school, but it has been several years since I studied it consistently.

I have a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, so I am well versed in sustainable solutions, and am a quick thinker / learner. I also have spent the last 5 years as a part-time tennis instructor for children and adults of all ages, so am very enthusiastic and comfortable in teaching positions. I am also very outdoorsy, and have spent many summers backpacking and doing outdoor trail work in the Colorado mountains. Therefore, I am pretty low maintenance and comfortable working and living in any kind of conditions. Also very personable and super excited to meet new folks!
