Description
I grew up on my family farm in the Carpathian Mountains in the tri-border area between Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia where I worked with my family for roughly 15 years. I worked as a waiter for 3 years and as a builder occasionally. I can do lots of things. I also like babbysitting as well as taking care of animals.
During summer 2021 I spent over 3 months on an ecological farm in Switzerland where I have done several dozen different tasks, taken care of animals such as sheep, rams, goats, bucks, cows, calfs, bulls. I made hay, cut the grass with various tools such as scythe, brush cutter and lawn mover. Moreover in Switzerland I literally worked with dogs that protected sheep from wolves and lynxes. I worked on the mountainsides cutting trees, grass, seeding, fixing fences.
During summer 2022 I spent one month in the Netherlands helping my host with house and garden maintenance, a vegetable plot around her house, feeding chickens, cleaning their run and little houses. I took care of her Great Pyrenees dog what gave me lots of experience regarding dog care.
I am strong and resilient both psysically and psychologically. I'm used to hard work. As you can assume I am good at hiking, skiing and in general in finding myself in the mountains. Due to this I am also used to cold, snow, merciless wind and in general tough conditions. I have experienced - 40 degrees of Celsius in my village as well as enormous amounts of snow. I am good at snow shoveling.
I work for an international company as a Human Resources Specialist, however I want to take advantage of every day off I have by travelling to different countries via Workaway, meeting new people, helping in their daily work and experiencing another adventures. -
