Hi,

I am Melanie(28) and I`m living in Germany. I'm mainly looking for a little working, refreshing exchange during my vacation from my normal very stressful Job at the local airport.

You maybe might wonder why I like to spent my vacation working, but let me explain.

I grew up at the countryside (you can still tell sometimes) and always helped out on a small farm in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, we could mainly only take care of the animals, cut hay and prepare the horses for cross-country rides and hunting races. A commercial agriculture was not possible because I grew up in the nature reserve "Westerzgebirge".
But my routine is a bit rusty, because I had to move to a big city for my Job, but I love to spent at least 1-2 two months a year to get out of the city and to calm down while spending some time in the nature and working with animals again(no worries I always try to be a big help, just the respect and joy needs to come from both sides).

I worked in different jobs until now, so is in a store, in the fiancial world and now in the aviation industry and I´m pretty sure I will keep working with air cargo.

You will not be my first host, I was already in Canada/USA for work and travel(2017/2018/2019/2022/2023). To help on several ranches/farms and renovated different buildings in Texas.
And I always enjoyed it as I enjoy traveling, reading, arts, sports/outdoor activities and spending some quality time because you live just once right ??

My english gets fluent pretty fast after a few days (understandig is always great depends also how much I´m using it at work.)

I´m also always willing to answer some questions, if you have some.

- animal care (Yes is a bit rusty, but I find the basic things you never forget)
- helping in the house (Yep on the profile you can see I'm almost 30 and after a while I gave up any hope that my household would take care of itself .... so yeah sure. ;) )
- helping with guests (My parents used to have a bed and breakfast business then I was young, so yes it was also my task to help them and be kind :) )

- a little bit of everything (I like to learn new things, do many things and dry out many things)

I love to travel and read, learn about different cultures from around the world and history.
I work a lot and I live a lot, which means I spend most of my free time in nature, for hiking, doing sports, painting and taking care of friends' animals/pets (yes, I don't own any myself, but only because of my job and travel activities).
