Ciao! I’m Mary, an Italian woman currently living in Milan (northern Italy), but born and raised in Sicily (southern Italy).
For now, I have just one past Workaway experience in the south of Sweden, where I've lived in the countryside and helped plant raspberries in a greenhouse. It was an amazing experience that helped me grow a lot and feel more connected to nature and community life.
I work mostly online for a food company as a tax consultant, which gives me the flexibility to spend up to a month abroad while working remotely.
I love nature, food, and learning languages (I’m studying German and aiming for completing my B2 level). I enjoy hiking, being near water, exploring new places, and trying new foods. I really like sharing meals and spending time outdoors.
In my free time, I enjoy board and card games, knitting, and moments in nature. I’m open-minded, easygoing, and always happy to learn and share new experiences 😊 -
