Hello everyone,

We are Marie and Neil, both of us enjoy travelling and exploring the world, and we would like to continue doing so through Workaway which we have both already experienced individually and now look forward to share these experiences together.

Something about us:

Marie from Germany;

I want to explore the world and learn more about myself. I'm curious and excited to meet you, learn about your culture, your daily life and perspective on the world.

I truly enjoy various work, being with other people, going out or hosting game nights with friends. I also love singing, practicing yoga and baking :)

Neil from Malta;

I enjoy involving myself in new and varied experiences, especially when I can share these experiences with others as I find that learning about different cultures, exchanging stories and working together to be really fun.

I find that spending time outdoors exploring new places to be quite thriling particularly if it involves activities such as trekking, hitchiking and stargazing. I would like to continue learning more about ecology, animal behaviour and permaculture as these topics really interest me. I also like gardening, thrifting, cooking, music and films.

As part of my voluntary social year, I had the opportunity to care for children, assist rehabilitands by driving them to appointments, and manage organizational tasks.

I also worked as a waitress and as a kitchen hand in a restaurant.

In addition, I am capable of assisting with household chores such as cooking and cleaning, and am always willing to help with any other tasks you may need.

I am eager to learn something new and I would appreciate the opportunity to learn new skills/knowledge from you.

Neil

I am educated in Environmental Science.

I have worked in various roles in the Environmental, Ecological, Hospitality, Customer Care and Tourism Sectors.

I have experience in Animal Care, Farm Work, Gardening, Cooking and Painting.
