Description
I am an artist and love to travel. I will be 70 at the end of January. I am young at heart, reliable and kind. I have attended a number of artist residencies, so I am very adaptable to new places. I started doing work exchanges almost 20 years ago with my first experience being in Portugal at a vineyard. I’ve also had experiences in southern France, pet sitting in Bulgaria and doing some furniture painting in Croatia.
I lost my cat, Pinky (18 years old) recently and it would be nice to do some cat sitting… or any animal care❤️
I am just rejoining Workaway and updating my profile information, but am ready to work in Europe for this March. I willing be traveling in Portugal and Spain in February.

I have been an artist for 40 years (painting/drawing/constructions...website:www.mfleonardsart.webs.com/)) and have supplemented my income with various jobs which has made me very handy at a lot of things: animal care, house cleaning, house painting, gardening, bookshop employee, babysitter, census taker, waitress, elder care. Currently I work for Catholic Charities. I help disabled and elderly people be independent in their homes. I have basic computer experience.

I am very dependable, honest and sincere. I was a wwoofer on a vineyard in Portugal in 2011. I have traveled a lot, mostly for artist residencies and am very adaptable.
I worked for the month of February near Split, Croatia. I painted and decorated some chairs and a table. Please see the photos of my work. After that I traveled to Bulgaria where I house and cat sat for 2 1/2 weeks.
