Hi, I'm Mandy! I'm 22 years old and from the United States. I'm a big fan of meeting new people, exploring new places, and trying new things.

In my free time, you'll probably find me outdoors: rock climbing, running, paddleboarding, playing soccer, or just hiking around somewhere beautiful. I also love to learn- I'm about to graduate from college with a degree in electrical engineering and spend a lot of time reading and acquiring random skills.

I’m hoping to find an opportunity where I can learn a lot while contributing in a meaningful way. In general, I’m pretty easygoing, a quick learner, and happy to help out however I can. I'm so grateful for all the friendships and memories I've made in my travels so far, and I look forward to making more!

I love language learning!! I'm a native English speaker and speak Spanish at an intermediate level. My top priority right now is to boost my Spanish fluency to an advanced level, but I would love to learn other languages, too — Italian, Portuguese, and German have all peaked my interest, but anything would be great. I'd be delighted to help anyone trying to learn or practice their English, as well! :)

I’m about to graduate with a degree in electrical engineering, so I bring a strong background in STEM — math, science, and problem-solving tasks are definitely in my wheelhouse. I also have a couple of years of experience as a tutor, which has taught me how to explain things clearly and work with people from a variety of learning backgrounds. I’ve worked in an assortment of people-oriented jobs and am confident engaging with others in many different environments. On top of that, I’m very comfortable outdoors and love hands-on work.
