I love spending time in nature, hiking, camping and skiing. I'm interested in learning Spanish and developing landscaping and gardening skills.
Description
Hello! I'm a 24 year old Canadian from central Ontario, currently backpacking through Spain until mid-April.
While I lack extensive manual labour experience, I am physically fit (a certified personal trainer), I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I'm keen to learn anything you may be willing to teach!
I enjoy:
- cooking
- landscaping and gardening
- painting and creative projects
- language exchange, teaching English and learning Spanish
I would like to gain experience in:
- farm work and animal care
- carpentry projects and repair work
- sustainability projects
I'm a lover of all things food related, an avid alpine skier, camper, and outdoor enthusiast. My love for the outdoors was fostered at a young age, growing up on my family's Christmas tree farm & maple sugar bush, and spending my summers in the Algonquin backcountry.
I have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and am willing to take on any challenge. I'm looking to disconnect from the fast paced society we live in and prioritize mindfulness, compassion and presence. Throughout my travels, I hope to immerse myself in diverse cultural experiences and take opportunities to develop new skills.Interests
