Activities i am interested in:
I am currently in my home town, Athens, GA, for the holidays to visit family! I would love to spend the rest of the winter somewhere warm before I start my sea kayaking seasonal job in April.

Description
Hi! My name is Maddy Kuhn and I am currently a seasonal sea kayak guide in the San Juan Islands during the summer. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management and Environmental Education in 2022. I love doing anything outdoors such as backpacking, camping, kayaking, and observing wildlife. My work off the coast of Washington state has ingrained a love for the west coast and I would like to spend January, February, and March exploring somehwere warm (California, Central America, or South America). I am a hard worker with experience in gardening, nannying, diy house projects, and hospitality.

More details about your skills
I studied Parks, Recreation, and Tourism management so I am very well versed in the hospitality and tourism world. I have been working in customer service for the past 10 years and 3 of those years has been in the tourism industry. I also pet sit regularly and have grown up taking care of cats, dogs, birds, fish, ferrets, and even squirrels. I love taking care of people, animals, and plants! I take care of 6 plants and I occasionally help out in my family's garden. I was also part of a program at my school called Connect to Protect where we brought planter boxes to elementary schools and taught kids the importance of planting native pollinator species. I would love to help with tourists or work outside in a farm or garden. I would describe myself as somewhat handy, and am a fast learner!
