Description
Hello everyone,
My name is Lucia, and I’m from Italy, although I currently live in Lugano, Switzerland.
I have a diploma as a Medical Assistant. My role is similar to that of a nurse, but without the direct patient care aspect. I perform blood tests, measure blood pressure, take X-rays, and assist with various medical procedures. At the moment, I work in a medical practice in Ticino.
However, my job is not what defines me.
I am also a huge animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. I have two miniature dachshunds named Millie and Primula, and they are a very important part of my life.
I want to become a Workawayer because I believe that life is meant to be experienced, not just observed. I am a very curious person, and I love discovering new cultures, lifestyles, perspectives, and ways of thinking.
I don't want to stay in only one reality or see the world from a single point of view. I want to travel, meet new people, learn from them, and allow myself to be surprised by experiences that are different from my everyday life.
For me, travelling is not only about visiting new places but also about personal growth. I want to challenge myself, step out of my comfort zone, and become a more open-minded and independent person.
I believe in kindness, helping others, and creating genuine connections without expecting anything in return. My goal is to live this life as fully as possible, collecting meaningful experiences, learning from every encounter, and appreciating the beauty that can be found in different people and different parts of the world.
As we say in Italy: “You never stop growing.” -

More details about your skills
I am a positive, empathetic, and responsible person who enjoys helping others and creating a warm and welcoming environment. One of my biggest passions is cooking, especially Italian and Asian cuisine, although I also love experimenting with new recipes and discovering different flavors from around the world.
I enjoy keeping spaces clean and organized, and I actually find cleaning relaxing and satisfying. I am adaptable and curious by nature, and I love learning new things and challenging myself with new experiences.
I have a driving license and feel comfortable being independent and taking on responsibilities when needed. Through both my work experience and personal life, I have learned how to stay calm and manage stressful situations with patience and maturity.
Many of my friends often tell me that they feel listened to, understood, and comfortable talking to me. I believe that being a good listener and showing genuine care for others are some of my greatest strengths.
I even hold a Swiss-certified diploma as a Medical Assistant. Thanks to my training and work experience, I have developed a wide range of medical skills, including wound dressing, blood sampling, measuring vital signs, taking X-rays, and assisting with various medical procedures. -
