Profile information

Description
My two passions in life have always been nature and music. I've conducted wildlife research in Cameroon's rainforests as well as Canada's mountains. I'm also deeply involved in my city's music scene. I DJ, dance, organize events, and volunteer to help friends with theirs. People often see these passions as opposite: science is rational and rigorous, while music is emotional and personal. Both are fulfilling, and that dichotomy is what makes me whole.
What drives me is tied to both. I thrive in leadership roles. I take pride in my organized and rigorous work ethic, but I'm motivated by getting better, which keeps me open to feedback. At the same time, I also thrive in community settings. Feeling like I contribute and belong is important to me, although I also value moments of solitude.

More details about your skills
Since we studied biology, we have a great knowledge of ecology, animal and plant physiology and microbiology. During our studies, we both worked as naturalists (guides) in zoos back in Canada, which gave us the opportunity to work outside with animals , but also to develop our communication skills. We both love working and playing outdoors and have done a lot of camping and hiking in remote isolated locations.
