Bonjourno workawayers!

A brief rundown of me is that I'm an energetic and outdoorsey soul who's looking to develop and redevelop some skills that were abandoned during my bachelor's. I studied a degree in sociology and am currently upskilling with some online courses in Geographical Information Systems as I move around, but that's giving me the space to do so while tapping into the hands-on side of life that brings me joy.

I spend most of my free time climbing, hiking and being around lovely humans. I've been learning to surf in Ireland, but it's a bit chilly at this time of year. So the aim is to do some more of this in a place where I'll be able to feel my toes at the end of the day. Evenings outside around a fire or cooking up a storm are ideal, and I'd like to think I have some good stories and recipes to bring to the table.

I'm a hard-working type of being, jumping into practical building projects and working with people are both sources of fun for me and also areas that I have experience in, having worked in cafes and on site crews for different festivals over the past few years. I've been a book editor, a yoga teacher and a permaculture initiate and will be happy to contribute to whatever wonderful project I end up getting involved with.

I'm passionate about the native Irish language, and always happy to share it with anyone who's curious or with other Gaelgeoirs with few or many words. On top of that, getting my French back up to scratch and continuing my German learning journey are current goals of mine.

I've organised music events and worked as a copywriter and book editor throughout my degree. I have worked as a waitress in several restaurants, as a bartender and barists and enjoy dealing with people. I've worked in a hostel making beds, cleaning up and acting as front of house. I lived on an organic farm for several years and have practical experience in gardening. I've worked site-crew at festivals, taught yoga in similar situations as well as in my university and have spent time helping out around bouldering gyms over the past couple of years. I have also worked as an Au Pair for a french speaking family and enjoy spending time with children.
