Hi! I'm a former elementary school teacher from Japan, currently traveling around the world since April 2024.
In my teaching career, I focused a lot on international understanding education. That's why I started Workaway — to experience real local lifestyles and explore how education looks in different parts of the world.
I love working with children and have many years of experience supporting their learning and playing with them. I also brought origami and Japanese calligraphy tools with me, so I can introduce Japanese culture through fun, hands-on activities.
I'm sharing my journey through Instagram and YouTube because I want more people to discover the beauty and diversity of the world. I’m still in touch with my former school in Japan, and we sometimes connect online — so if there’s a chance to interact with local kids or schools, I would love to organize online exchanges with Japanese students.
I can also cook Japanese home-style dishes.
My English is at a conversational level, so I may not speak perfectly — but I always try my best, never give up, and communicate with a big smile!
