Description
I'm Australian and I have been living in Germany for 2 years. There are so many things I like about living in Germany, but I definitely miss the sunshine, beaches and general warm atmosphere of Australian life, so I will be seeking out similar climates in my Workaway experiences.
I am a primary school teacher and in my spare time I am learning German, cello and I also love learning about art, history and music. In addition to my experience working with children, in past lives I have worked in theatres and pottery studios. I am trying to travel more when I can, and I really enjoy cultural exchange and learning more about the places I am visiting. I also have some experience working in an animal sanctuaries as I volunteered working with pigs for a year.
I am interested in Workaway exchanges as I love the idea of connecting with people around the world, learning new skills and also pushing myself socially and physically to try new things. I love watching home renovations on Youtube, particularly restorations of old buildings, so I am also interested in many families doing this on the Workaway platform.
