Hi!!
I’m primarily looking for an exciting and educational adventure where I can support conservation or wildlife protection/rescue/care efforts. I'm also interested in supporting starter organizations with program management skills including administrative, financial, and technical support work. I like to trave and live in new places which also makes me an ideal candidate for short/long term animal sitting.
I have travelled to 53 countries and lived in Vietnam, Laos, Poland, Myanmar, and Malawi - each for 1-4 years. I love to travel, meet new people, tell stories over a beer and engage in adventurous or athletically driven exercise! I am down to hike, kayak, riverwalk, snorkel, build, garden, and pretty much do anything that is outdoors, involves thought, imagination, laughter, and teamwork! I can work solo, but prefer a team.
I have some tricks for home upkeep, repair, painting, etc. and I don’t mind putting in the hard labor.

Professionally, my trade is more academic as I’m a lawyer have worked in international development (program management for projects on combatting environmental crime, anti-corruption, rule of law, monitoring environmental projects, etc.) for the past 8 years. I can help your space with anything administrative, financial, technical (writing, research), etc.
However, I have always been drawn to the outdoors, backpacking, camping, exploring, and observing. I love anything that has to do with water! I started a community garden at my law school (from conception, materials, building, bylaws, upkeept, etc.) so I am generally familiar with organic farming practices.

I like to be social and will always add humor to a situation, but I like some space to reflect solo as well. I like reading historical fiction, adventure, fantasy – usually anything with a vivid description of an intriguing universe will draw me in. I love a good holiday where friends/family get together to talk about life, drink libations and be merry. That said, I want to use this workaway as a time to get healthy. I like cards and board games and also pub games like table tennis, darts, foosball…and “real” sports too! I used to play water polo at a high level, also soccer. I enjoy tennis and other hand eye coordination sports. I can walk/hike for days, but I’m not a runner.
