Description
Hola hola! My name is Kenna, and I am 21 years old. I am from Montana, USA! I am a student of Spanish Education and Hispanic Studies. I started learning Spanish 7 years ago and I would say my level is B2. I studied for a summer at Universidad de Salamanca, and loved my experience! I'm excited to return to Spain to continue learning about its amazing culture and history. When I studied at USAL, I traveled and explored Madrid, Portugal, and Galicia. I love to travel, explore, and meet people from all over the world! My other hobbies include skiing, running, golf, tennis, dance, travel, and teaching. I also enjoy nightlife and making friends; Especially in a new place, I would be adorned to make some friends of my age!
In my future, I hope to move to Spain to become an English teacher, which is why I am looking for a WorkAway opportunity revolving around teaching English. While I was studying at USAL, I met an amazing family who needed someone to practice English with their daughter. I went to their house about 2 or 3 times a week to speak English with her. It was a great way to work while making valuable connections. Additionally, in Montana, I volunteer weekly with a 7-year-old boy who also needs English practice. I go to his school each week to play games, draw pictures, and do activities to enhance his English skills. I have also volunteered with a local organization called English Para Todos, which helps the English-learning community in my area get integrated into their new English-speaking community/society.
So excited to continue my journey teaching English and learning Spanish through WorkAway!

I study Spanish Education and Hispanic studies at Montana State University (Bozeman, MT, USA). I am interested in both teaching a language and learning a language. I aim to perfect my Spanish while helping people perfect their English. I studied at USAL last summer, and loved my Spanish classes. While I was studying at USAL, I met an amazing family who needed someone to practice English with their daughter. I went to their house about 2 or 3 times a week to speak English with her. It was a great way to work while making valuable connections. Back home, I have been volunteering with an English language learner, and I go to his primary school once a week to improve English proficiency. My goals for Workaway revolve around teaching English, learning Spanish, and exploring Spanish culture.
