Description
Hi, thanks for checking out my profile! I'm originally from Singapore and lived and worked in many countries growing up. I spent my childhood in Canada then studied in the UK and US. Later I worked as a documentary film producer in Thailand, China, and Taiwan. Now I am somewhat of a digital nomad, mainly doing videography, photography and writing for various companies.

I have a nomadic streak, I love traveling to far flung places, understanding and living with local people there. I particularly enjoy really remote rural places, where you can experience the extremes that nature offers. Some of the best trips I've had include places like Alaska, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Greenland. I usually spend several weeks in each country, living and immersing myself in the local life.

I took a break from Workaway after having such wonderful experiences volunteering in the wilds of Alaska and Scotland cos of COVID and work, and now I'm back!

I also enjoy sharing photography, films, music and travel tales with other curious people I meet on my trips. I really enjoy playing the keyboards and guitar, and once in a while, when I meet fellow musicians, we have a great time jamming together.

On the side, I'm a private chef as I love cooking and experimenting with different cuisines and ingredients and love cooking and exchanging knowledge of food with different people I meet!

I'm a professional videographer, photographer and writer and am happy to help in these areas and teach them as well! I'm also a private chef when I'm in my home country and love cooking for people and sharing food!

I've also taught English and Mandarin in schools around the world and can share my language skills too,

I'm well-versed in social and digital media and can help with digital marketing and branding work.

Although I'm not especially skilled at repair work, building and similar tasks, I'm extremely adaptable and enthusiastic, and with the right instructions, I can get things done.
