Hi!
We´re two friends from the Czech Republic, currently in the middle of our uni studies - Markéta has just started her Master's programme in English Teaching and Kateřina has moved to her Master's studies in Occupational Therapy.
As for our experience with volunteering, in the summer of 2019 we enjoyed a fulfilling month in the middle of Swedish nature working in a guesthouse/farm. In 2022, we set off to the UK where we volunteered in an international café in a buddhist meditation centre. In 2023, we visited the coast of Spain where we helped around the house, in the garden and with DIY projects (you can check out the parasols we worked on in the photo gallery :D). All of these trips were very gratifying and left us in want of more Workaway adventures.
We'd say we are hard working, as we like being rewarding and we have a positive approach to all kinds of challenging tasks. We consider ourselves to be effective team players and fast learners. We´re really thrilled to travel and to collect experiences, learn from local cultures and various worldviews.
We´re admirers of living with enthusiasm, nature, sunsets, fluffy socks, board games, tasty cakes and people who are willing to share their experiences.
