Description
Hello !! My name is Justine, I am a 23 year old looking on traveling in one of the most meaningful way possible : while meeting local people and helping others.
There is a saying in French that says "travel shape the youth" and I couldn't agree more. I am just trying to shape myself through adventures and meetings. I like to visit new places through the eyes of the locals, make meaningful connections, and make me rich in memories. I also want to challenge myself through new experiences out of my comfort zone and learn new skills, which makes Workaway a wonderful place to start.
I finished my master's degree in Political Science - Publics and International Affairs in Montreal, Canada and feel like I have a lot to discover before truly understanding myself and the life I want to live. I would love to work in NGO's or in the community sector, especially everything around social inequalities, gender issues or working with refugees.
I have been traveling for the past few years while doing some workaways, couchsurfing or just backpack and I love it!
I am currently in South America, and am planning to travel the lovely region for a while.

More details about your skills
The hospitality sector is a main working interest for me where I feel like I belong. I have a lot of customer service experiences thanks to working in bakeries, coffee shops, serving at private events, in a festival, a little bit in bars and as a receptionnist. I am currently working in a coffeeshop and love the relationship and contact you can create in such an environment with people.
I also did a lot of volunteering throughout my life and still do, so I have experiences regarding working with people from different cultures, ages, backgrounds.
I speak French and English fluently and would love to teach those languages if needed. I can speak a little bit of Spanish and definitely plan on working on that during my trip.
I am good with children thanks to my siblings. Keeping a house clean and in order is something I learnt early on when I started living by myself. I also have 5 roommates here in Montreal so I know how to live with others and love to do so !
I am an easy going and smiling person. I truly love to help and would be happy to give you a hand with anything you need. I am a quick learner and am not afraid of getting my hands dirty and trying new things!Age
