I am a French traveler currently exploring Australia and Asia, looking to trade my skills for new experiences. My background is in marketing and design, a career that instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, organization, and the ability to solve problems on the fly. However, I’ve found that my most fulfilling days aren't spent behind a screen, but rather when I am contributing to something tangible and meaningful.
My transition into hands-on work truly began during my time volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center near Canberra. It was there that I discovered a passion for animal welfare and the resilience required for rescue work. I spent my days (and often nights) bottle-feeding orphaned joeys—from kangaroos to wombats—tending to wounds, and assisting in the rescue of distressed possums and kangaroos. That experience taught me more than just animal care; it taught me how to stay calm in high-pressure situations and how to maintain a meticulous, clean environment for those depending on me.
Coming from a professional world and a background in fast-paced retail, I don’t just bring a set of hands; I bring a professional mindset. I approach every task with the same focus I once gave to a design project.
