Our next destination:
Northern Territory, Australia - from May 2025 until Jun 2025 View allDescription
Hi there! We're Bekki (31) and Josh (34), currently travelling Australia along in our trusty Subaru + roof top tent. 2 years ago we left our corporate jobs in London to live out our travelling dreams and we've been lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful countries on offer. This includes road tripping through Canada for 4 months followed by spending 8 months in Latin America. Prior to this, we’ve both travelled Europe extensively and Bekki’s destinations have also included The Philippines, Thailand & Vietnam.
We're avid cooks (both vegetarian) and love exploring local wildlife, going on long hikes and seeing live music. Living in the city has had some amazing perks over the years (especially all the gigs we’ve been able to go to!) but travelling and experiencing the outdoors has a bigger pull on us now, small town living is where we're happiest.
Our first workaway experiences were in Canada and the weeks that we did were some of the highlights of our trip. Living on the road is great but we both appreciate the opportunity to slow down for a week or two, get to know our hosts and fully embrace the experience, local area and tasks at hand. If we learn some new skills along the way thats also a huge plus for us too!
For us, the best thing about travelling is meeting people from all over the world who in our everyday life, we wouldn’t have had the chance to meet. We can't wait to continue our journey around Aus and hopefully see you soon!Interests

Firstly, Kathy and Selby are unbelievable hosts who welcomed us on to their island and into their home. They spoke to us ahead of time about grocery requirements and made sure we were catered for come dinner time (we’re vegetarian). Both had a plethora of stories to share, as well as holding a genuine interest in our lives… read more
We stayed for a week and had plenty of jobs to get on with, branching from building a fence to clearing down areas and tending to the farm animals. This workaway is ideal for anyone who wants to… read more
John, Tess & Sarah did everything to make our stay as fun and easy going as possible, especially with John taking us to some of Squamish’s secret havens along the way. They all couldn’t have done more for us!
